| Completion of a
Marshall construction project has earned Key Building Systems, Inc.
of 2820 East Marshall Ave, Longview in western Harrison County and
honor by VP Buildings, one of the nations largest manufacturers of
metal buildings. Key Building Systems, Inc. has been named to BP
Buildings' hall of fame for the Social Security Administration
Building located at 1509 Sedberry Street in Marshall. The 7,191
square foot structure was completed December 2003. The project was
valued at $610,909.00 and took 10 months to complete. The building
was built to strict Federal government specifications and features
an attractive public reception/lobby area having a combination of
ceramic and quarry tile, wall coverings and raised panel wainscot.
The National Hall of Fame Awards are presented each year to
authorized VP Builders for outstanding integration of building
systems, products and design. The 2004 Hall of Fame Awards included
hundreds of entries in a number of categories. Over 1,000 authorized
builders from across the globe are eligible to enter the Hall of
Fame competition. David Zinger, president of VP Buildings, said, "VP
gained recognition many years ago with the 'Custom Concept.' The
Hall of Fame is proof positive that our builders continue to
challenge the boundaries by seeking new and innovative ways to prove
that pre-engineered buildings are the system of choice." Bill Supan,
president of Key Building Systems, Inc., said that winning the 2004
Hall of Fame is truly an honor, given that the competition includes
several hundred top general contractors across the country. Key
Building Systems, having been in business since 1972, is one of the
oldest general contractors in East Texas. Key Building Systems, Inc.
engages in all commercial, industrial and institutional projects as
well as the sales, erection and repairs of metal buildings. Projects
recently completed by Key Building Systems, Inc. include Welch
Funeral and Memorial Center, Womens Dormitory at Longview Baptist
Temple and four Goodwill retail stores.
